Making A Paper Bag Reindeer Puppet

To make this, you will need dark red construction paper, paper bags, scissors, glue, and either crayons or markers. In addition, googly eyes are optional but will help bring your creation to life!

Start by tracing two hands on the construction paper and then cutting them out. They will act as the reindeer’s antlers. Next, fold the two square edges of the paper bag under and on the dotted lines to form the reindeer’s head.

Now, you should have the reindeer’s head, which you will use as a puppet. Next, you should tape, glue, staple the handprints you made earlier behind its head and cut out the eyes using construction paper or googly eyes.

Now, using red paper, then cut out and then glue on the puppet’s large red nose. You have yourself a beautiful reindeer paper bag puppet to use as a Christmas ornament.

Paper Plate Angel

This craft will help you turn a paper plate into a beautiful angel. You will need a pencil, a paper plate, a stapler or tape, scissors and paint, crayons, or markers to decorate it.

To start this craft, draw the pattern you want on the underside of the paper plate, and then cut along the lines while discarding the dark section. Decorate it as an angel.

Then overlap the edges of the skit slightly with the tape or staple in place. You will make a paper plate angel for use over the holidays.

Gingerbread Men And Women From A String Of Paper

This is pretty easy to do, and all you need is a string of paper to make the gingerbread men and women use while decorating your home. These strings can drape across your living room, windows, and Christmas tree as well.

You will need these supplies: crayons and markers, scissors, a brown grocery bag or tan construction paper, staples, glue, tape, long brown or green string.

Start by drawing a gingerbread man or a gingerbread woman on the construction paper. Ensure to draw a rectangle on the top of its head as you will hang it from this rectangle, which will also be folded over.

Cut it out and then draw the clothes and face. Fold the rectangle at the top of its head, then attach the person on a long string using tape, staples, or glue. Ensure the gingerbread people are attached to the string.

Hang this on your Christmas tree.

A Stand-Alone Starcraft

This is a 3-dimension star decoration that is made from 2 paper stars that are usually interlaced together. These stars normally stand on their own on a table and they make a great Christmas decoration.

Here’s what you will need. To make this craft, you should have stiff paper, either then cardboard or cardstock works well. In addition, you will need scissors, markers or crayons, and having a printer is optional.

Start by either drawing on the two identical stars on the paper or printing out a star template online. You can find different templates online. Next, decorate the stars on both of the sides, then cut them out.

Make one slit on each star, and on one star, the slit should go from the inner corner to the center part of the star. On the other one, it should go from the outer corner to the center point.

Slip the two starts through the slits together and just cut. You can use tape to put the stars together, especially where they meet at the slits, to have more stability. This is now a great 3-dimensional star decoration.
